Budapest, Hungary

I remember when I was young I was a huge fan of the Olympics. Still am. I never thought I would ever end up visiting a place like Budapest. Plus, with mo internet I, as long as I am sure many others, did not know how beautiful it is. The architecture was amazing. The beauty of the bridges over the Danube were incredible. Although Budapest has a varied history of both good and bad, it still did not take away my love for this amazing city. The thermal baths were a real highlight. And the people were also a real treat. Everybody I met was very friendly. There is a dark history there in the not so distant past, but these people have moved on to create one of the great cities of the world. I will definitely return. The thermal baths, the food, all too great not to want to take another trip there.
